Pokemon Citys Recap 2011 - 2012

Hey guy's whats up this is MMOregion and this is my citys
recap

so with city championships coming to its end, the last one I
know of on the 14th, i thought it was a good time to talk about
how i did.

First off im going to go over all of the citys i attended and how
I did at them

I could go over exactly where they where where, and do a huge recap
of all of them.. but to be honest im way to lazy to do that.

so here is a screen shot of all of the citys i went to, for all
of you to lazy to actually look at the screen shot.

I got
3rd twice
2nd onece
and 1st 3 times
leaving me at 30 championship points and around 30th in the US
(the other 3 points where from battle roads)

so what was i playing at these citys?

at first i decided to play ZPST for the first 3 tournements
then the rest of them i played Donphan Dragons
W/ a 2-2 Zoroark tech

I would have been playing other decks such as chandelure or
the truth, but with my lack of tropical beache i wasn't able to.

So overall i'm pretty glad about how i did at citys, compared to
my proformance at regionals, I did good at almost all of the
citys i wen't to, so again im quite satified with that.

Pokemon citys Recap (Dec 3rd 2011) @ Game Cafe *3rd place*

I just got done editing an entire video, rendered it. Then it came out as a black screen.... I really do not feel like redoing it so I'm just going to do a typed report.

But first i should talk about how i did at regionals (horrible)

so ultimately i flopped at regionals, went 4-3 and no top cut... nuff said

I'm just going to go strait into regionals

Round 1

Someone with the eel, i just kept using hurricane, and was able to kill all of his stuff before he could set up.

Round 2

I felt bad going into this match because he was playing Archeops... against my ZPST .... :(

anyways he also had Terrakion so i guess if he got that powered up he could do something, but he didn't. i just kept 2 hitting all of his stuff and eventually won the game

Round 3

This was the hardest match of the day for me, it was the mirror. we both started off semi slow and just kept exchanging prizes. At the end it was 1-1 prizes, he eeeeeeked with cleffa and stayed awake, so i was able to win that one

Round 4

I know i half to win one more to get top cut, so i really need to.

i get downed parred to someone with donphan, this is what i was going derp against at regionals, but i learned from that and was just spamming tornadus until get ran out of danphan winning me the game.

Round 5

knowing I'm getting top cut, now i just need to win this one to secure me 3rd. this was another easy match up for me, he was playing kindra cinncino. I just kept using my catchers on his horsea, eventually winnning the game.

Top Cut

This is my first time in top cut, and I'm extremely existed and nervous. It wasn't helping that people where just pulling up chairs and watching.

Game 1

the only match up I'm not confident with Cobalion/electrode/kyrumm

ugh this games went bad, he kept killing my stuff and his extremely tank pokemon just kept face rolling me. this one i would of won, but i whiffed on energy with a juniper, was my fault the because i wen't noob and didn't check how many energy i had left. turns out none.. LOL

Game 2

same thing basicly happend

and that's it, was really fun and a lot more tournaments to come!
